I am stoked abouit going to STARBASE next week to build my own rocket! The other thing im very excited about is going in a blackhawk helicopter!!! Thats just awsome.:)
The bad thing is that we dont get to ride the blackhawk but the teachers do. :|

I am very excited 2 go 2 STARBASE in two weeks. 1 of the reasons I am very excited 2 go is cause we get 2 build our very own rocket. also the good thing about going there is that we get 2 see inside of a Helicopter.(that just awesome). The bad thing about it is that the teachers get 2 ride.

I think this means that you won't get the right anwser unless you make a geuss that you think will be the correct one. On the science olympiad shirts I didn't get what this meant (at first) but now I get it.

"No great discovery was ever made without a bold guess" means to me that you can't just go out into the world and make a discovery. You first have to grab the chance to create one by making a guess that is at a high risk for being wrong. Taking that risk brings out the true scientist inside you. And showing the world everyday what can really be done. Today tommorow and always. Sir Isaac Newton was a great example of a scientist. Discovering gravity and comming up with The famous Newton's laws. Testing and re-testing to make sure he is correct. And probably comming up againts tons of criticisim. That takes courage and to be a scientist means to have courage. Johanna :)

Sir Isaac Newton was a genius man. He created the 3 laws of motion. He also discovered gravity. I think the the quote means that you need an hypothesis before you can make the expirement.

We have not learned very much about Sir Issac Newton yet but i know he created the three Newton law's. " No great discovery was ever made without a bold guess." To me that meant making a prediction will really help you think BIG! Sir Issac Newton is a very important person. He helped us understand gravity, understand force and motion, what helped us fly to the moon! Making a bold guess is what helped Sir Issac Newton make his bold and out there discovery. Wich means if you make a prediction it will help you think big, and maybe someday you willl do something as great as Issac Newton did!
